Momma’s happy time yoga

Dates: June 16 & 30, July 14 & 28

Time: 11AM-12PM EDT

Are you this close to freaking the %*@! out?! Yeah, I get it. Me, too. Let’s get together, slow down, connect and chill out on the mat. This class will raise your happiness level using breath work, meditation, gentle stretching and yin-style yoga poses to ease your mind, body and spirit. Your family will thank you!

Virtual Classes

Fierce start morning series

Dates: June 16-20, June 30-July 4, July 14-18, July 28 - August 1

Time: M, W, F - 7:30-8:30AM EDT

Time to get strong, flexible and fierce! This series is three classes and designed to hit all major muscle groups in a week with a focus on a strong, interconnected core. Get your day started right and carry that fierce energy into all that you do.

Exploration of the chakras

Dates: June 12 & 26, July 10 & 24

Time: 12-1PM EDT

Perhaps you’re thinking to yourself, “WTF are the CHAKRAS?!” Or, maybe, you’re all, “Yes! I’m all about the CHAKRAS?!” Either way, you’ll get value out of this class designed to open up space in each energy enter over the course 14 weeks. Do one, or do all!

In-person Classes

Yoga for Beginners

Date: June 15 & 29, July 13 & 27

Time: 3-4PM EDT

Never done yoga before? Feeling a little intimidated by the word yoga? Think you absolutely cannot do it? I’m here to tell you that you can, and I promise that your body will feel properly refreshed after just one of these sessions designed for beginner yogis in mind. You are capable, strong, and you can!

chair yoga

Date: June 22, July 6 & 20, August 3

Time: 3-4PM EDT

Chair Yoga is a super fun way to incorporate movement into your work day and an accessible practice for anybody with mobility issues. No need to get up and down off the floor. And, you’ll leave the class with effective exercises you can do from work or home at any time of the day.

FAQs

  • Yes! 1000 time yes! The classes at Find Your Fierce Heart are designed to be inclusive and accessible to all people with all types of bodies. You are welcome here. The first step to cultivating a fierce heart is having the courage to try something new. Please give yourself this gift!

  • Yes! We offer beginner classes and chair yoga classes especially designed for those with mobility issues in mind, and all classes will offer options to accommodate you.. Please let us know about any injuries, health conditions or mobility issues using our intake questions at the time of registration.

  • For all virtual classes, you will need a yoga mat or rug and blankets that can be folded for support or used for warmth. Optional: Yoga blocks, yoga bolsters, meditation cushion.

    For the Fierce Start Morning series, you will need a full set of resistance bands. I highly recommend Black Mountain Ultimate Resistance Band starter set. I am absolutely not affiliated with this brand. It’s just the best, most affordable kit I’ve found.

    For in-person classes, you don’t need to bring anything, but you can bring your own yoga mat, if you prefer.

    In general for all classes, you should dress in comfortable clothes that allow for easy movement.

  • Virtual classes will be held on Zoom. You can download and install Zoom on your computer via the Zoom website or on your phone from an app store. This support page can help you download and install Zoom and also features a link to a handy getting started guide.

    You will receive an email after you register for a class with the Zoom link and more information to help you prepare for the class.

  • Virtual classes will be recorded. The recording will be sent to registrants no later than 24 hours after the class, but usually, it will arrive in your inbox a few hours after the live class ends.

    In-person classes will not be recorded.

  • Yes, you definitely can pay in-person. Please send us an email at classes@findyourfierceheart.com or use the contact form to send a message so that we can reserve a space in the class for you. In-person classes are limited to 6.

  • Currently, virtual classes are limited to 95 participants, but this limit may change as interest in classes grows.

    In-person classes are limited to 6 participants due to limitations on space.
